Mr Dominic Cullen

Dominic is originally from Swindon, Wiltshire but has lived in the Nottingham area since graduating from Nottingham University in 1992. He lives in Bottesford with his wife Colette and his five children. Their daughter went to Belvoir High School from 2010-2015, and three of their boys currently attend the academy. Their youngest boy will also be joining the academy in 2019.

Dominic taught Mathematics for 11 years, including 5 years as Head of Maths at a successful Nottingham Comprehensive. He now teaches on a voluntary basis one day a week at Belvoir Academy.

His business interests include property investment, thoroughbred breeding, insurance underwriting and proprietary derivative trading.  In his spare time, Dominic is a keen sports fan, he plays vets football, and enjoys chess and poker!

Ms Lorraine Ainscough

Lorraine is originally from Oakham in Rutland, and has lived in Bottesford for around 10 years. She has two daughters, one of whom started in Year 7 at Belvoir Academy, with her youngest daughter due to join in Sep 2018.

Lorraine currently works as a Business Unit Manager for Essity Hygiene Products UK, managing accounts for UK retailers. Alongside this she is studying for an MSc in Psychology & Neuroscience at Kings College London.

Her interests outside of work and study include running and cycling, as well as spending as much time in the kitchen as possible baking and cooking!

Dr Ian Livsey

Ian is originally from Castleford, West Yorkshire but has lived in the Nottingham area for over ten years. He lives in Orston and his daughter currently attends The Priory Belvoir Academy.

Ian has had a number of voluntary roles, amongst them: chairing an after school play club as part of the charity, London Play, being part of the wider Play England charity; acting as a trustee of Groundwork, Nottingham; and, as chairman of one of the largest charitable providers of apprenticeships in England. He is committed to the importance of practical learning, improving careers and educational guidance, and raising standards in education.

Ian works in the City of London as Chief Executive at the Institute of Risk Management, and continues to hold a number of non-executive directorships. He holds a doctorate in science from Bristol University and an MBA from Warwick University Business School.

In his spare time, Ian participates in the local community, enjoys a round of golf, travelling to interesting places with his daughter, socialising with friends over a hot curry, and looking after the family pets, including three cats and two budgies! He also attempts to keep his garden under control, and fails!

Mrs Felicity McPeake

Fliss is originally from Syston but spent about seventeen years working in North Yorkshire before resettling in the Midlands. Her working life started as a chartered accountant and tax advisor (with a specialism in agriculture) where she rose through the ranks to be made partner in a firm in Skipton. During this time a local college asked her to deliver specialist training for accountants and that is where her love of teaching commenced. A degree in Environmental Studies ensued and a second career started in education. Passionate about progress and giving students opportunities in and outside of the classroom, she has been on three Performing Arts tours (taking part with her clarinet), one ski trip and numerous visits to the coast for fieldwork.

Fliss lives locally and is keen to raise the academy’s profile in the locality and to make The Priory Belvoir Academy the first choice for many more families.

Outside of the academy, she is treasurer of the village social club and is a Guide leader mentor having been a Ranger Guide leader for many years. Her youngest is now at university so she spends more time with her husband and dog and heads to Norfolk as many weekends and holidays as possible.

Mr John Yarham

John has lived in Bottesford since 2004, with his eldest daughter joining Year 7 at Belvoir Academy in September 2017.

Having a keen interest in education, he has also been chair of governors at the village's primary school.

John's 'day job' is chief executive of Futures Advice, Skills and Employment, a Nottingham based company supporting over 100,000 people a year with their careers. The organisation was graded as Outstanding by Ofsted in January 2017. He is also a non executive director and trustee of several local charities and social enterprises. He likes watching and participating in a range of sports and walking with his family.
