We are proud that our results for 2018 once again puts above the national average for the progress of our students.

Progress 8 and Attainment 8 Scores

  • Progress 8 Score = +0.14
  • Attainment 8 Score = 47.49

Progress 8 measures the average progress a student makes in from Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 4. A progress 8 score of 0 is the national average. Therefore the school's Progress 8 score of + 0.14 means that our students performed above average.

 

Percentage of pupils who achieved grade 5+ and 4+  in English and Mathematics at the end of Key Stage 4

  • 4+ = 69% (equivalent to an old grade C)
  • 5+ = 42% (equivalent to an old high C/low B grade)

 

Percentage of pupils who achieved the English Baccalaureate

  • Percentage of pupils who achieved the Ebacc = 42%

97% of pupils went onto college or further training.
