Career education at Belvoir is a journey that starts in Year 7 and continues through to Year 11. Students have access to a variety of materials and have the opportunity to meet employers and post-16 providers. Students access a range of careers activities organised by the Academy working in partnership with LLEP and our Independent Careers Advisor. These activities include Personal Development days, STEM workshops within the Academy, STEM Fairs, Careers and University Fairs, as well as apprenticeship schemes and mock interviews. All of this is to support students in making well-informed decisions. Parents play a vital role in supporting their children in making decisions about their future and the Academy is committed to working together with parents.
Labour Market Information (LMI) is a useful tool for parents/students to access up to date information which may help them make more relevant and educated careers choices - http://www.lmiforall.org.uk/explore_lmi/
