The Priory Belvoir Academy offers pupils the chance to play in numerous sports fixtures throughout the year. Pupils are selected for matches at the many lunchtime sports clubs that run throughout the week, facilitated by the PE Department. It is important that students attend these clubs in order to develop their skills and understanding and also to receive the up-to-date information about fixtures.
Priory Belvoir is part of a group of schools from Rutland and Melton who play against each other in a range of different sports. Generally, different sports are played in each half term and each activity will provide competitive opportunities against the following schools:
- John Ferneley College (Melton Mowbray)
- Long Field Academy (Melton Mowbray)
- Casterton Business and Enterprise College (CBEC – Stamford)
- Catmose College (Oakham)
- Uppingham Community College (Uppingham)
There are a range of sports offered each half term:
