Students in Catchment or those entitled to concessionary travel

The local authority plan and organise transport for all students in the catchment area of the academy.  Bus passes are issued directly by Leicestershire or Lincolnshire School Transport (depending on your location) in the summer before your child starts with us.  For mid-term entries, queries and information on concessionary places, please contact them directly on-

Leicestershire School Transport

Telephone: 0116 305 0002

Lincolnshire School Transport

Telephone: 01522 782020

Bus passes are checked each journey so your child needs to keep them safe.  The passes are non-transferable so your child should not attempt to travel on another service at any time.  Lost passes should be reported immediately to the relevant Local Authority (Lincolnshire or Leicestershire).

When student are allocated their transport route, we update the academy database and this helps us to share with you any updates on travel disruption as quickly as possible.

In addition to the Vale villages, there is a service from Dry Doddington/Westborough/Long Bennington/Foston and a service from Allington/Sedgebrook and Woolsthorpe.

For students travelling on public transport for the first time, we offer a student “buddy” service until your child is confident with their arrangements.
